Nyland Management are based in Stockport, south of Manchester.
The agency was founded over 20yrs ago by Patrick Nyland who
trained as an actor at Manchester University.
Over the years Patrick and the agency attained a highly regarded position within the industry, and continue to maintain a successful working relationship with Casting Directors and Production Companies based on professional commitment and trust.
Tony Nyland took a more active role within the agency some ten years ago, and brought with him a wealth of experience that spans 25yrs in Television, Film, Commercials, Theatre and Theatre Stage Management.
Susie Spencer has recently joined Nyland Management and comes from an established Yorkshire based actors agency, bringing her experience, enthusiasm, dedication and professional commitment to the business.
In her early career, Susie developed her aptitude for negotiating and public relations whilst making international business trips for blue chip companies.
Susie earned her Masters Degree in "Television and Radio Scriptwriting" at The University of Salford, and a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Fashion Design.
Since graduating, Susie has worked on various theatre and film productions; and is currently writing for The Contact Theatre and Dance Offensive.

- Coronation Street's 'Les Battersby'.
Bruce Jones had only been with his present sole agents Patrick Nyland and Tony Nyland of Nyland Management for a short while when he got his first big break to play the lead role in Ken Loach's highly acclaimed feature film 'Raining Stones'.
Over the decades with Nyland Management, Bruce Jones has gained credits for numerous Television and Film productions including;
Heartbeat; A Touch of Frost; Band of Gold; Roughnecks and having appeared with Ricky Tomlinson in Jimmy McGovern's 'Hillsborough'; Robert Carlyle in Simon Beaufoy's 'The Full Monty' and Bob Hoskins in Shane Meadow's 'Twenty Four Seven' before being offered the regular role of Les Battersby in Coronation Street.
